Fred S. Vernacchia, M.D., is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at San Luis Diagnostic Center-Dignity Health in San Luis Obispo, CA. He has served as the Medical Director since 1994.
Dr. Vernacchia has a degree in Chemistry from the University of California, San Diego. He graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, where he received subspecialty training in neuroradiology under Dr.’s T. Hans Newton and David Norman.
He was named the San Luis Obispo County “Physician of the Year” in 2016.
Dr. Vernacchia is a reviewer for ACR Practice Guidelines and acts as the principle reviewer for QCT Bone Densitometry and an associate reviewer for DXA Bone Density and PET/CT. Dr. Vernacchia has authored/co-authored many medical journals articles and has presented at numerous medical association meetings.
He is an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at Touro University, California.

Eric J. Gray, M.D. is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at San Luis Obispo Diagnostic Center-Dignity Health in San Luis Obispo, CA. He has a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University. Dr. Gray received his M.D. from University of California, Irvine School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed residency at University of California, San Diego and went on to complete a Fellowship in Body Imaging at Stanford University. Dr. Gray has co-authored several publications in medical journals regarding various topics in radiology, including oncologic imaging and ultrasound.

Kristen Kieley, M.D. is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist at San Luis Diagnostic Center-Dignity Health in San Luis Obispo, CA.
She has a degree in Biology from University of Texas, Austin. Dr. Kieley graduated from Chicago Medical School, Rosalind Franklin University. She completed her residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Kieley completed a breast and body imaging fellowship at University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
Dr. Kieley has authored/co-authored many medical journals articles and has presented at numerous medical association meetings.

He graduated from University of California, Irvine with a BA in Comparative Literature and a BS in Neurobiology. He completed a post-graduate Fulbright Fellowship in rural Southeast Asia. Dr. Hoang received his M.D. from Brown University and an MPH from Columbia University. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He has worked as a consultant for Physicians for Human Rights and the biotech incubator Coridea. He currently works part-time for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Teleradiology Program.
